Mango Carrot Citrus Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • 2 apples - cored and quartered
  • 2 to 3 mandarin or clementine oranges - (depending on size) peeled
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • 10 baby carrots - or 3 medium carrots
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup - OR
  • 6 medjool dates
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions
 

  • Add water to the blender.
  • Layer remaining ingredients in blender in this order: apples, carrots, oranges, mango, syrup OR dates.
  • Blend on high for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  • Add ice and blend another 15-20 seconds until it's almost blended in. The ice should make it a little thick and frosty, but there shouldn't be big chunks.
