Sparkling Prosecco Limeade
This Sparkling Prosecco Limeade is a refreshing and bright alternative to a mimosa. And if you’re not a champagne fan, Prosecco is the perfect pick.
This is another one of those recipes I made up on a whim. I love mimosas but I’m not a big fan of champagne. I prefer Prosecco so when I make mimosas at home, that’s what I use. Except today, I wasn’t in a mimosa kind of mood.
I was grocery shopping after dropping the kiddos off and dreaming up what I might treat myself to for a home made brunch. I passed by the Simply Limeade and inspiration struck. Enter the Sparkling Prosecco Limeade.
Simply Limeade is what makes this drink shine. You’ll notice I use their juices a lot in my cocktails. I’m not sponsored by them. I just really like them.
If you love any cocktail made with lime (like this traditional margarita), you’re going to love how bright and deliciously tart this is.

Ingredients
Limeade
Simply brand limeade is where it’s at. Not only is limeade harder to find than lemonade, but theirs is just the best so don’t buy anything else unless you have to.
Lemon Juice
Why add lemon juice to a drink that’s already made with citrus? You don’t have to, to be honest. I tried it with and without and I think it elevates the flavor of the lime ever so slightly.
Sugar
Just a bit of white sugar to balance out the added acidity from the lemon.
Prosecco
You can use any kind of Prosecco you like. I used La Marca because it comes in a 187ml bottle which is just a teeny bit over 6 ounces.
Strawberry Slices
You can use any garnish that compliments lime. I like strawberries with my Sparkling Prosecco Limeade, not just for the flavor, but for the pretty pop of color.
